Everyone can contribute!

Simklubben RAN is about more than training and competition. Our events and activities depend on all of us as members helping out. You don't need any previous swimming experience to contribute – there are both small and larger tasks where we need help.

Dear Contender,

We are sorry to have to inform you that Malmö Open Water 2023 to be held on saturday 12 august has been cancelled.

The most important reason for this decision is the fact that we have not been granted permission to organize the competition at the initial location of Ön/Limhamn. We have looked at an alternative course in open sea, but it was determined that the safety could not be sufficiently guaranteed at this location.

We have in the mean time been in touch with our partner Race ID, who takes care of the start fees, and we have requested them to start wit the refund process. It will however take several days before all contenders will have their money back. We do ask for your patience.

We apologize to all contenders who signed up and who were looking forward to competing next weekend. We will for sure be looking at organizing the competition again next year, and we hope to see everybody again then!
